White Sands Motel

It was alright, the bed was comfy enough, the room was clean enough (behind the bed had some dust), the shower was hot enough. The location is easy to get to, the staff was friendly without being fake, you can park right outside your room, and there isn't much noise from the road. It might lack a bit of retro motel charm but it was a nice place to spend the night. I felt safe and comfortable.

We had an overnight stay. The room was small, but clean and otherwise seemed to be well maintained. If you're only staying a night, or will be out and about all day it would possibly work. The TV worked and there is wifi available, though I didn't use it.

Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We got a Mountain View room and enjoyed being on the back side of the motel. Highly recommend.

My family and I are rather snobby and high maintenance when it comes to hotels/motels. I booked this place purely on reviews and considering there weren't a lot of choices. I try to stray away from chains. We were pleased and impressed with White Sands Motel. No smoking and no pets. That was nice! I love my dog as much as the next person, but would prefer to not share a motel/hotel with them due to our daughter's being allergic to them. The owner was friendly and helpful. The grounds and rooms are well cared for and clean. We'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on our drive to AZ based on reviews. We were not disappointed. Staff were very nice, the room was large and very clean, bed comfy (#24 king bed). A/C had remote and kept room at correct temp. Mini fridge worked well and had little freezer. Highly recommend. Will stay again. It is in walking distance to a few different eateries.

We came into town for my brother’s funeral and decided to book our room here. We are so glad we did! Super clean, very quiet, safe, and exactly what we needed. Not to mention this was the only place we could find a room with 3 beds to fit our family of five. We don’t usually stay in motels but if they were all like this, we would only stay in motels! The housekeeper Bridgette was extremely kind and friendly. The breakfast options were just what we needed… cereal, bagels, yogurt, milk, orange juice, bananas, coffee, water bottle refill, and other small items. The inside and outside are very clean and well-kept. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their motel. If we visit again, we don’t need to look anywhere else for somewhere to stay! Thank you, White Sands Motel for providing a wonderfully safe and comforting place for us to stay, especially during a difficult time.

We had a great stay in Alamogordo at this motel - clean, comfortable room and walkable to restaurants. The owner recommended a great restaurant just a short walk from the motel. We had a nice continental breakfast in the morning - perfect place to stay while visiting White Sands NP!

Friendly, quiet and clean. I don’t know how you could ask for more at this price. A classic American motel. Great for visiting white sands NP.
